One one hand I love my job (for the time being) I got the military officer thing going on and they took me from working at Burger King and warehouses to having my own spot, car, spending money etc

But when I was working those part time jobs I wasn't really out approaching women. Now that I'm more stable, I'm back on the scene

But it seems like these days all I hear is "Can you grow your beard back?" "You look fine clean shaven but I would love u so much more with facial hair."

And I'm just thinkingfukk. Right now I got the young Nas /AZ look going. Mid fade + waves with no beard just a mustache.

I wanna tell them I coulda been working at Burger King with the beard, and looked better. Or not riding the bus around town, with my own spot, only catch is I have to shave every damn day

Yea breh, just trollingyesterday was kind of long and I felt like posting something...You're right, if the woman I'm dealing with is mature, she wont care. And working minimum wage and eating ramen noodles is not the move.


But in all seriousness, I told myself I wanted to get commissioned in the fall of '12 and It finally came to fruition last summer. Going to OCS next summer...If anyone is interested PM me. It's a scholarship where you get a full ride to any HBCU in the country. Along with getting active duty pay while you're in school.

They're looking for move qualified (black) applicants, but the people we talk to on campus aren't interested for some reason

Its basically part of being in "regulation". Its the same as wearing the specified uniform.

You can get a shaving waiver (if you get razor bumps) where you're allowed to grow facial hair to a certain length, but its not supposed to be lined up, etc.

You're not supposed to finesse the system just because you want to grow one, but some people do anyway.
