just listened to YG's album, and i retract what i said about dude earlier. i mean, hes still not a good rapper but he gets IT and is an okay artist.

both this and GKMC get a 3 1/2 from me.

as for my vote, it goes to YG's album. i can jam it str8 thru despite its redundance & amateur feel. meanwhile, kendrick only had a handful of joints worth going back to.

so yea, YG takes it. low-key, the best thing about this album is that it flowed so well that i didnt even care about it sounding like one long song. i think it helps that most of the songs were under 4-minutes. cuz that bul dj mustard pretty much gave him the same beat 10 times over, yet them chits were smooth and flowed together like water.

whoever said dj mustard is the new lil jon was right. that might not have been said in this thread tho. thats not neccessarily a good or bad thing.

btw, the best beats were from the other producers.

The myth of kendrick's greatness wil be a beautiful site once it's exposed.
This overrated nikka,pretending to be on drake's level,while only touring festivals,cant do a real headlining tour like club paradise or would you like a tour etc.
BUT he supposedly went platinum in this climate.
I see bytches putting up facebook post praising MKL and saying it's better than GKMC.
It's amazing what a overwhelming push can do for an underwhelming artist.
nikkas talking bout YG sound generic. Come off as a real west coast cat to me.
I guess i'm differnt though. I stil listen to various albums from the past 30 years,so kdot's approach doesnt impress me. I'm not going to compare him to alot of the redundant shyt talking music of recent years and get hyped like "thanks for taking it hear kendrick,you're so creative"
If i listen to him and i just got done listening to pac or nas etc,and they're younger than he is (in the songs i'm listening to) i'm looking at his so called depth and creativity as a joke,totally unimpressive.
His voice is past annoying,shyt is maaaaaad corny to me.
