ALWAYS ANCHOR yourself throughout the organization/across different departments. Especially amongst VP level and up. You need someone other than your boss to advocate for you when you're not present.
The best way to anchor yourself across different departments is by being the individual taking point/lead and DRIVING the meetings (w/your camera on)...Muthafukkas need to know you.
Having a clear agenda, notes, slides, and direction.
Making sure your name is visibly present in documents/slides/diagrams (I always include my name on a document's footnote - Written by *first name* last name* *email*
ALWAYS KEEP APPLYING AND INTERVIEWING FOR EQUAL OR BETTER JOBS.
Whether its Salesforce, NetSuite, Jira, Marketo, Snowflake, any tool or business process...keep a backup copy of all documents/notes on a burner Microsoft One Note or Google Drive account
