im in shock about this honestly. my moms went to protest multiple times during the GWB administration against invading afghanistation and iraq

she was been with my stepfather since around 2004 or so. she used to be married to his best friend before he died. within a month they were dating. theyre still together to this day... dude is a moron cac from the south... when trump came out he kinda shrugged at it but he got lost in the sauce over time. i've bowed up on him a few times and hes never had the nuts to swing on me, but he likes to run his mouth. i can only imagine the horrific shyt he says behind closed doors. i dated all sorts of women when i was younger.. white, hispanic, black, mongolian. he never opened his mouth but i could just tell he felt a way about it.

fast forward to today... texting my moms catching up and she starts going off about kamala 'pickle liquor' and 'tampon tim' and how 'fukked we'd be' if kamala had won. she said democrats are 'fakkits who want us all gay and childless' - my auntie (her sister) is an open lesbian, since like... forever. shes never had a boyfriend. i have a half brother from a different dad and im like 80% sure hes gay and just doesnt know it yet. i dont know what the fukk is going on

i am like 99% sure she voted for kamala in november

my moms is 61, so maybe shes losing her marbles? either way it makes me really concerned. i had to set 'do not disturb' mode on my phone and walk away. my grandma started to go a little batty before she died, so maybe thats what this is. i knew i would lose her but i did not think it would be like this

i gotta be honest, a big part of me wants to drive over there and stomp my stepdads brains in. i think he has a hand in this. do you think he could be manipulating her, in her weakend state? she got diagnosed with mild emphysema last week after the cancer scare. maybe this shyt is taking a toll mentally. i dont know what is going on

I think it goes back to our elders coming up primarily as conservative in values. When you see Dems leaning further from conservative values & been thru several elections of the same script I can I imagine it gets tiring. A lot of our older folk imo lean more to conservative than MAGA. Unfortunately for them it’s all grouped together
