Nah, it's pretty clear that 6-8 years into the trap craze it all sounds the same. Every now and then there's a gem - karate chop was dope, but the sub genre is stuck where it was in 07/08/09 yet the lyrics got worse (and that takes a lot of work)

I ain't a full 80s baby like that (I'm 26) but damn... I remember when nikkas like Fab, Cam, X, even 'Kast was sending fire to DJs for mixtapes. Hell, Da Art Of Storytelling Part 4 is one of the best "compilation" songs of the past 10 years. UGK used to go hard on compilations. All the movie soundtracks. Etc. Etc.

Now in 2013.... any track that's not an album single or a banger is seen as a "throwaway" so we can discard any value to it. Rap game so weak these days.
