I see...because of the fact that she was over 18 at the time of the trial...had the trial taken place in that time period before she was 18 its an easy conviction
Nah, they couldn't prove that the girl on the tape was who the prosecution said it was.
The girl and her parents said it wasn't, then you'd have other family members saying it was, friends saying it wasn't, neighbors saying it was.
Jurors couldn't say for certain who the girl actually was, so they couldn't say she was a minor.
