Still got the physical version, but a digital version is good stuff. Might be signs we'll finally get DS games on the 3DS.

Ah man I really should buy a 3DS.
You def. should. Library's pretty solid, there's some great digital games as well...and then there's the BC w/ the DS library.

Yea i still have my DS Lite but the top screen is messed up. Does it have hinge cracks like the DS Lite did?
thankfully no...BUT there is a slight chance your bottom screen could scratch the top screen (for standard 3DS, the XL doesn't have this problem). The bottom screen is elevated with a bumper like border and is known to scratch the top screen. But if you use screen protectors, you should be fine.
Get the new model so you can play snes games too
