im not in NYC but ive been a cyclist for a long time and plugged into those communities.
This is facts.
The cycling crowd latched on to super liberal pro trans type movements a few years back.
They basically want cities to be nothing but trains, busses and bikes.
They dont care if locals dont want it..
its a "I know better than you" type of attitude behind it all.
Its another reason youre going to be seeing ride share apps get taxed more and more as the years go on.
I agree cities should be more pedestrian friendly...but they take it too far sometimes.
