No need to worry. White "hipsters" will most likely flee back to middle America when the economy tanks again. Then the city will section 8 all those wonderful condos that have been built, and move the great unwashed back in. Then I guess the "hood" will be more to your likings.

Funny Story about Gentrification.
Alright, last night, I was out with this chick I met last week in Bushwick. We went back to her place after a couple of drinks, we're making out, she says we ain't fukkin tonight...I was like
okay. Played simp for the night and left to get some eats at Checkers on Broadway near the Marcy Ave stop on the JMZ. This Russian dude was yelling to his homey about how he was sick and tired of all these "new people" (aka hipsters) in his neighborhood and how they were jacking up his rent by 400% and how he wished they would "go the fukk back to Iowa or Wisconsion or whever the fukk they came from".
This nerdy white dude (who...from my assumption given where he was, in gentrified/hipsterfied Williamsburg, definitely fell in the hipster category) with a JewFro, buddy Holly glasses, a dingy grey t=shirt, cut off jorts, and chuck taylors hears them and he's like "I know who youre talking bout and I feel the same" tryna act like buddy buddy and ish and like he wasn't all
about what he was saying. Cause I could tell his ass DEFINETELY wasn't from Brooklyn.
That surburban white guilt must of been eating him alive. He was trying to give them high fives all friendly and they weren't having it.
They were probably thinking in the back of their minds like "n*gga please...you're exactly who we're talking about".
