My old job is still paying me

Then I got paid again on Friday.

hr called me and they still had me as a employee by mistake

Said they would call me back and not to spend the money

Not a god idea. idk the rules in Canada but he could get in trouble for doing that here.

That might be ok but send the money you just got back to them. Make sure you're able to prove that you sent back the exact amount they sent you. Just in case they try to say you didn't give them all their money back.

By law they can legally go for the money here in the united States. Remember, direct deposit goes both ways. As they give, they can take. And if you have a bank account with a negative balance... Be careful.
