What kind of camera do you use?

What is a good camera for somebody that's new to the game?

I'm wondering the same as his page doesn't say camera type. Ultimately it doesn't matter, though. I just came up on a d3300 nikon a week ago and immediate took less interesting photos than my old point and shoot sony.

Any entry level dslr, even with a kit lens, can do the job. @spinoza has his composition and light game right. Those skills make all but the worst cameras turn out amazing work. Can't wait to compile my work over the next few months.
