Just listened to the last couple of Lowe post podcasts. No mention of these Rubio/Lee trades or Redikk sign-and-trade for Melo. My apologies, folks. :guilty:

Just makes me happy. Rebuild rumors holding strong!

PS Second round prospect watch, intriguing big man I saw mentioned at Realgm,

Funny enough Lee doesn't really make sense for Portland because they want to shed salary. If Lee is moved it may be for something else entirely like maybe Pick #12 from the Pistons who are seeking a quality vet.

:jbhmm:

Well this makes things more complicated. If the Known teams are out and Melo softens his trade destination request I could see Portland being a potential partner because they have the contracts on the books to match Melo's post trade kick contract (and a shyt load of picks this year). Lillard, McCollum, and Nurkic might be a strong enough of a core to attract Melo....

Miami has the space, some picks, and some youth. I don't think they are eyeing Melo (and vise versa) but they are still my dark horse Trade contenders.

I mean really the one thing we can take away from all this is odds are the Knicks will have 2 first rounders this year.......

That is in itself dope to me cause beyond all the drama that is some common sense stuff I would like to see from the Knicks FO.
We sitting with 1 first and 2 seconds right now, not bad but another first would be lovely.
