good job, but the hard part isn't the layout, the hard part is the font, which is custom and done/drawn through AI. which is exactly why you did the layout (which is generic for just about any card) but not the font bit.

basically I could whip up a cnn logo by putting a white square and random red in the middle, but we both know it takes time to make the actual CNN.

shyt took me 10 mins...

you custom make fonts? that's very time consuming, i have no time for that..

you think you can find that QGC font anywhere? or with a globe in it? that's all drawn and pathfind. The photoshop is just putting it on a card/layout and kicking it out.

of course it takes time nikka, that's the point lol. I can mimic the CNN logo right now in 10 min, that proves nothing. The person that created it from his mind is the person that gets all credit because he had nothing to go off of. You'll learn this real quick when you get into school and projects start. You can't use regular fonts to make a logo, you have to manipulate, draw, pathfind and mesh existing ones or create an entirely new one for the actual logo.

I think it's fun, but that's why I like to do it. If it feels like hard labor sitting down fukking with fonts for hours, then its probably not for you, maybe drawing is. I like doing retouch, but you gotta do all kinda networking to get in. would be cool to stare at models all day airbrushing photos, removing imperfections, shyt looks like crazy fun - better than dealing with boring business folks.

I got offered to do retouch dvd cover shyt for this porn company back when, but then I sat back like man they paying peanuts and Im looking at vaginas, anus and dikks all day, that might not be mentally healthy lol. I dont know how them cats be sitting there editing that shyt for hours on end. damn.
