we kinda inherited the puppy in 2010 after a family member from Louisiana basically forced her on us literally minutes before our road trip back to Texas.
our relationship was never all that great because she would piss EVERYWHERE and the carpet was dark so I wouldn't know she pissed until I was ankle deep in a piss puddle
what was so infuriating to me is that she can't understand English - I finally know the helpless fury of a White man yelling at the Mexicans he hired from under the pine tree in front of Home Depot without really knowing what skills they had because the Mexican who spoke the best English still spoke it poorly, but because he shook his head 'yes' when asked if they could build a wooden deck for 300 dollars split between the 4 of them, they were hired and later ruined 6 thousand dollars worth of wood by improperly cutting it.
I've probably hurt her feelings a few times, but we all make mistakes and it's like she's not trying to hear it at this point, she's fed up with the bullshyt, the cold shoulders, the lack of tummy rubs.
she doesn't even jump in my lap anymore when I sit on the sofa, has she fallen out of love with me?
