why would a girl that u ain't never fukked by u a $900 watch? sounds real-ish.
We've been friends for over 15 years. We're best friends. And she always gets me nice gifts, since she makes good money. I also get her thoughtful gifts as well. Not as expensive, but thoughtful gifts.

I wanna let you know that the ugly friend who bought you the watch likes you...and she likes you waaaaaaaaaaay more than just a friend. I probably wouldn't have let my girl know that she purchased it for me if I wanted to keep it and felt no way (as in attracted to the person or wanted to be with her) about the "friend." However, since your girl already knows, you need to get rid of the watch if you don't want to cause a rift between you and your girl (which is already happening). You should probably explain to her that you didn't realize that it looked odd to be receiving such an expensive gift from someone who was only a friend.

Nope. I think any gift from a female that isn't related to him would have pissed her off. I only used the expensive gift angle because of the example she gave him about the Louboutin's.

I don't think that's the issue at all. It has nothing to do with "crazy" per se. He said himself, he would feel a way if one of her male friends bought her a pair of thousand dollar shoes.

I'm not gonna be naive and act like my friend wouldn't give me play if I acted on it, but I'm not attracted to her. And since most women aren't aggressive, if I don't approach her, it won't ever happen.
I don't think she does it to make my shorty jealous. She does it because she genuinely cares about me. Even when I was single, she did things like that for me. But in the back of mind I think she does it to make try to make a point that she could do more for me than these chicks I mess with. But then I could be reaching.

but if your man got a nice gift and was happy with the gift, why get mad? at that point you would just be selfish and insecure to start a fight about it. your man is happy why are you mad? this is more about trust issues then the gift or who gave it.
