To be fair, considering we are the descendants of africans yoruba orishas adinkra etc are just as much our culture as it is anyone else's and our lack of fully acknowledging it is due to the trans Atlantic slave trade. The problem with how tariq relay this message is he makes a lot of sweeping generalizations to penalize entire black groups. Something he wouldn't appreciate if a non black american did to us and he dam sure has shown he has a issue when people make sweeping generalizations when it comes to mulattos based on who he sleeping with when I can in fact make a case that mulatto c00ning has been way more detrimental than Nigerian Caribbean etc c00ning.
