Odell had a drop problem in college. A lot of people didn't watch him at LSU but he dropped a lot of passes. I know because that's my alma mater. Jarvis was better then him. I didn't expect dude to be this great at all.

Still, it's not like all of those passes were pinpoint accurate either. Eli made a couple of those catches way more difficult than they needed to be.

Elis passes were fine.

He should have caught the TD.

The slant route to the sideline should have been caught. Dude jumped to catch it when it would have hit him in stride if he just kept running.

One ball hit him square in his chest.

Dude was straight Casper in that game. The drops by him and Shep allowed Rodgers to get the ball back while only being down 6 instead of 14. Defense can't chase mfers all night.

As much as i try to shyt on Eli, this game was not his fault
His passes were on point for the most part
The fumble was not completely his fault
The into at the end wasn't either
If they a$$holes held onto the ball earlier in the game they wouldn't be in that predicament

Eli overthrew Obj on several occasions. Obj can't be expected to haul in all of Eli's overthrows. Obj wouldn't have caught the ball to the sideline if he kept running. He was already running and Eli's ball was so overthrown that Obj couldn't reach it after jumping AND stretching for it. The only drop I attribute to Obj is the TD.

Eli overthrew Obj all game. Even on the Tavares King TD, Eli underthrew and forced King to slow down and wait for the ball.

A "theory" huh? :heh:

Nah, he dropped them shyts. A few of them were tough catches but he had both hands on most of them....

If anything that cold weather had him shook... I hate catching a football when Temps are below freezing. Either way no excuses because the other receivers managed to pull down catches...

Hopefully that nasty azz humble pie will get him more focused and come back better next year....

But I'm sure he'll probably spending the summer dancing by the pool at Drake's house

If you get your hands on the ball you're suppose to come down with it
I don't care if you had to jump, dive, wait or adjust
You're a professional
I could go out there and drop passes too
It's not like he was jumping 6 feet in the air and touching it with his fingertips
It was going through his palms

Obj catches his fair share of wayward Eli passes; it's Eli's job to throw accurate passes to his receivers. That's ball placement and a QB skill. When Eli doesn't do this, some of the Giants drops are accordingly his fault. People can harp on Obj all they like but regardless of what happens in New York, Obj is going to get paid in the NFL. Matt Barkley is more accurate than Eli. So are plenty of other Qbs. Obj can produce as much with then as Eli. So the pressure is on the Giants not Beckham.
