I was born and raised and still live in the UK.
I was for Brexit.
It had everything to do with national sovereignty, the Euro currency.
A country that can't make it's own laws or has it's laws heavily stymied by another entity is no longer a country. Simple.

fukk the EU. Long live Brexit!
What laws were you against from the EU?

Ill give you an abridged version of what I know. Theres valid political points on both side of the argument such as freedom of movement and sovereignty.

Hypothetical pros include:
More freedom of law making
More border control
Less EU interference in policy
Can create own rules without having to defer as much
Reduced globalism

Hypothetical Cons include:
Less freedom of movement to other countries in EU
May isolate key trade countries
May affect currency
Very risky and unstable
Increased holiday prices
More paperwork on things that used to be more simple

In essence, being in the EU grants great benefits that makes our lives more efficient but it comes at a cost monetarily and in terms of power.

But brexit is generally supported by conservatives and cacs due to xenophobia and racism opposed to logical thought and just spew ducktales which is why many are :mjpls:

I didn't vote, don't care.

Whole thing was a fukking joke with Farage :duck: and Remain fearmongering

Which is why I didnt get why people were trying to force others to vote on this shytshow

One of the most embarrasing displays I’ve seen :scust:

Doesn’t affect me directly, just seem like white supremacy shenanigans.

They demonised immigrants to get this through

How is about white supremacy?
The point of Brexit is to split away from other European (white) countries and handle it's own business.

Yes I am. I'm of Jamaican descent.

You sure? I never met a black brexit supporter but you upped a 18 months old thread to talk about it.

:patrice:

How does it benefit you?

Thanks because I was about to ask the same thing. British Sovereignty vs Europe doesn’t mean a thing if you’re black. You still part of a WS system either way. At least there’s convenience with staying in the EU and moving freely through Europe on one passport.
