My agenda is simple. Every election there's two options. My agenda is choosing the best option out of the two for the masses of black people so the worst option won't win.

I can't simplify it any better than that.

Hypothetical.

If trump came out with an agenda that benefited black Americans more than the democrat agenda would he get your vote? What if while benefiting blacks, it harmed Hispanics would you care?

Cause I don’t see that sort of empathy coming from other minority groups my way. I ain’t with the lift all boats shyt. We still behind no matter who’s in office.

We operate in reality here. But I'll engage that point.

My question, why isn't Trump offering that agenda?

I'm a pragmatist. I don't expect this country to ever pass legislation that would put 13% of a population ahead of the majority of the population which is white folk.

I don't expect white folk in a capitalist country to cut every black person a $200,000 check for being ADOS which would make us their neighbors when they won't even give white children universal healthcare.

So to answer your question directly, Trump has lied so much I wouldn't believe him if he told me sun the would shine tomorrow. But if a credible Republican candidate ever ran on legislation that was better than the alternative candidates legislation for blacks I'd vote for them.

@G.O.A.T Squad Spokesman

you mentioned something about negotiations before that I skipped over.

RULE #1 in negotiating is NEVER NEGOTIATE FROM A POSITION OF WEAKNESS!

You expect to just vote Biden in and then negotiate for him to do something for you? :russ::russ::russ::russ::russ:

That is the single dumbest strategy I ever heard.

Nah we need to sit his ass down and say you about to lose all these votes unless you have a clear black agenda we all agree on. If it don’t work this time then the next democrat candidate gonna know what time it is.

Ground swells lead to 3rd parties, imo, not the other way around.

The existing parties, in order to retain power typically take on the platforms of those groundswells.

If you look at American history, I think you'll see that's the case.

You don't see the ground swell around you? Black people today are beginning to question the Democratic Party the same way they questioned the Republican party 60 years ago. You can clearly see more and more African American voter dissatisfaction.

One of the things that is happening is that the Democratic Party is trending more to the right to accommodate dissatisfied Republican voters that have left the Republican Party after the Bush, Jr. and Trump years. The new voters are anti-African American, which is why Hillary Clinton and Biden are compromise candidates for those voters. Biden, Clintons and Harris are far to the right in the Democratic Party and it is pretty obvious that will be the case going forward.

SAD. YOU NEED TO LEARN HOW TO TAKE MULTIPLE INDIRECT ADVANTAGES AND WORK THEM TO YOUR FAVOR.

IT WILL BE DIFFICULT TO GET DIRECT CHANGE. WE NEED TO LEARN TO ASK FOR INDIRECT ASSISTANCE IN MULTIPLE ARENAS THAT WE CAN TIE TOGETHER TO FORM SOMETHING TANGIBLE.

He has a black agenda and you may want more but he has one which is better for us than the alternative, they'll never be anything we all agree on. Black folk didn't even agree with MLK in unison.

Third party votes could actually create the ground swell for the changes that people seek, because if enough people voted for a third party candidate the other two party will take steps to understand what it is that you are seeking.
It's almost as if you live in a different reality. This type of thinking makes sense in a normal election when there isn't a worldwide pandemic going on.

The pandemic is the #1 issue right now in America.

Trump's nonresponse to the pandemic has wrecked the black community at a much higher rate in deaths, job losses, black businesses shutdown and continues to do so. And the clown even found time to reinstitute redlining policies - one of the primary reasons for the huge wealth gap between blacks and whites. All this is ongoing right now and continues to grow worse the longer he's in office.

I don't understand how anyone who actually gives a damn about what's happening to the community right now wouldn't want to get this guy out of office.

But keep standing on your principles or whatever. Yall don't really care what happens anyway. Yall would rather "let it burn"
