Man look, y'all may or may not have noticed but I'm a corporate america breh. I'm an accountant. I'm also a gym rat.

I'm muscular/fit and keep myself in shape although I'm nowhere near where I want to be physically. I'm not a big dude at all. Since a few of my bosses learned of my gym habits, they've used the gym as a conversation opener (of course). Problem is, these particular bosses never discuss anything else.

Christmas party was last week at a restaurant. Everybody was drinking. As the night is coming to a close, one of the senior bosses says "man, you're in such good shape! your solid!, I feel like such a wimp around you" (while looking at my chest) This behavior is acceptable in the gym, not at dinner breh

Brehs this is a few things going on.

One, why do whites feel like they can only discuss this type of shyt with me? This is why I cant rock with this corporate shyt - we just dont relate to each other. They only wanna talk to me about the gym and sports.

There's something about cacs and this. I don't work out but I have broad shoulders, a slim waist, and good height. A natural six pack...it makes you uncomfortable at first for grown men to be complimenting you.

When I was in the army and would attend sick call, you often had to take your shirt off. The male, cac doctors had no shame...

I couldn't get quarters or time off for being injured because the doctors would be like, "You're in such phenomenal shape, you can walk it off".
