Man look, y'all may or may not have noticed but I'm a corporate america breh. I'm an accountant. I'm also a gym rat.

I'm muscular/fit and keep myself in shape although I'm nowhere near where I want to be physically. I'm not a big dude at all. Since a few of my bosses learned of my gym habits, they've used the gym as a conversation opener (of course). Problem is, these particular bosses never discuss anything else.

Christmas party was last week at a restaurant. Everybody was drinking. As the night is coming to a close, one of the senior bosses says "man, you're in such good shape! your solid!, I feel like such a wimp around you" (while looking at my chest) This behavior is acceptable in the gym, not at dinner breh

Brehs this is a few things going on.

One, why do whites feel like they can only discuss this type of shyt with me? This is why I cant rock with this corporate shyt - we just dont relate to each other. They only wanna talk to me about the gym and sports.

Two, white man admiring black man physique next thing I know he'll be asking me to do pushups in the office

Everybody does this. It's sad really. I've gotten so many remarks about my physique just because I lift a weight or two because the whole country has gone flabby n sick. This is real. I think some of it is just corporate jobs resulting in lots of fat or flabby guys so if you look good you stand out. But there's jealousy too. Especially when they see how female coworkers react to you.

I'm not a big breh but I lift and do cardio. Me and this 6'6 white dude are the only guys who are serious about exercise at work; all the other dudes are either skinny, average, fat or flabby. We could feast on these chicks at work but we know work relationships are a bad idea.
