Man look, y'all may or may not have noticed but I'm a corporate america breh. I'm an accountant. I'm also a gym rat.
I'm muscular/fit and keep myself in shape although I'm nowhere near where I want to be physically. I'm not a big dude at all. Since a few of my bosses learned of my gym habits, they've used the gym as a conversation opener (of course). Problem is, these particular bosses never discuss anything else.
Christmas party was last week at a restaurant. Everybody was drinking. As the night is coming to a close, one of the senior bosses says "man, you're in such good shape! your solid!, I feel like such a wimp around you" (while looking at my chest)This behavior is acceptable in the gym, not at dinner breh
Brehs this is a few things going on.
One, why do whites feel like they can only discuss this type of shyt with me? This is why I cant rock with this corporate shyt - we just dont relate to each other. They only wanna talk to me about the gym and sports.

I too am a well built dude in corporate America. I've seen how this sh!t unfolds first hand.
Those compliments are actually jealousy and hate masquerading as compliments.
DO NOT get drunk around these people. No good will come of it.
If they bring their wives/girlfriends around do EVERYTHING YOU CAN to resist.
Their wives WILL hit on you and they WILL catch on this and that will make them hate you EVEN MORE.
If they keep complimenting you just flip it, give them a single compliment and then keep it moving.

During a presentation she sat next to me. She tried so hard to engage me with small talk.
It was clear that she was looking for something that she wasn't going to get right then and there.
The guy presenting was funny so we were laughing.
Next day the manager won't shut up about how his wife was talking about my laugh.
Next thing you know he's writing me up for bullshyt offenses.
