So as some of you know I copped a Wii U last weekend based off the strength of coli breh's recommendations and that target deal where I got a 50$ giftcard for copping the Super Mario Bros U bundle and 2 for 1 deal. I'm really enjoying the experience, but there's a list of things that should have been added that are missing from the system, that should have be on there, esp in this day and age of gaming. So here's my list. Feel free to explain the Nintendo's rationale.

1) Lack of online multiplayer support.

Why is it that Xbox 1 and Ps4 have games that offer online multiplayer and Nintendo does not? I mean, it would be extremely fun (and would be something that could sell the system to casual fans) if you could play Mario 3d, Donkey Kong, etc on online multiplayer. I understand that Nintendo is supposed to be the Co Op console, but people don't get together to play videogames like that anymore. My brehs got shyt to do, and won't come all the way over to my house to play some damn Mario 3d :what:

2) Lack of DLCs for Nintendo games.

I mean, this is a gimme--all next gen games outside of Nintendo release DLCs to make the game more fun.

3) Inability to buy Wii U touchpad controllers

So why is it that you can't buy Wii U controllers? I'm not talking abotu classic controllers, I'm talking about the touchpads? I hear in Japan you can. But what the hell will I do if, god forbid, I break my gamepad?

4) Doesn't come with Avi cables.

Aight, you Coli nikkas may diss me about this, but I don't have a HD TV. I had to go pay 17 got damn dollas on Avi cables for my Wii U. I mean, that's money I could have used to buy a used Wii game.

I can't really think of much else right now. I love how Wii U is backward compatible, and I love how they have incorporated the Eshop. I hear the Wii Eshop has more games than the Wii U Eshop, so I can buy the games on the regular Wii that I want to play if the Wii U Eshop doesn't have them. There are tons and tons of regular Wii games I've never played, so I feel like im discovering a bunch of great games I didn't know existed or that I never had a chance to experience because of the Wii U.

Wii U has a lot of issues with it but 3 of those have to be some of the dumbest complaints I've seen. shyt like digital games being tied to hardware irritates me more than the stuff you posted.

The wii u is my secondary system compared to the ps4. I don't really care too much about it. I copped the deluxe for 200 about 6 months ago and played mario 3d world for about a month but now it's just collectin dust. I'm considering flipping it but my nieces always love playin it when they come over. Might just give it to them so I don't feel tempted

The software droughts suck but I can't justify selling mine any time soon. I need to play Bayonetta 2, Smash Bros, and see what that new Zelda looks like.
I'm also a huge Monster Hunter fan.

Yeah. Its pretty much a last generation console, breh. You'll have fun with it from time to time though.
shyt, I'm having a lot of fun with it. If it wasn't backwards compatible, I wouldn't have bought it. So, tbh, I bought it to play Wii games mostly--shyt I didn't get to play last gen, being that the Wii was the family's Wii and not my Wii :beli:

That's the problem I don't really see any games I wanna play.

I enjoyed Mario I beat it in a month and a half or sumn and I bought DK when it came out and beat the first boss but never picked it up again. I should probably get around to that since I'm running out of PS4 games to play but these nintendo games just doesn't feel the same as it used to when I was a kid. :sadcam:

I never understand why they don't have a port for an ethernet cable and the backwards ass system to back up your data on the system, but Nintendo always doing things in their own strange way. :yeshrug:
