I was having a discussion on Steph Curry with my lil brother. He feels like Curry aint a great player just a good one. But he's just now making his case to be great this year. He feels like Curry would win no rings without this Golden State team. He also feels like Paul George is right behind him individually this year. He feels like Curry is gonna even out and average out to about 27ppg. 7 or 8 asts. By the end of the season. I'm not even gonna add my opinion on the matter cause mines is DEF different from his. But what do u guys think about his assessment?.

What is his definition of a great player? And no, Steph would not win a ring w/o Golden State it's a perfect storm. Maybe similarly constructed pass-happy teams like ATL or SAS. And he's averaging 32 right now? 27 is pretty low unless he's gonna start playing 1 half of basketball from January onwards. I do think he'll dip under 30 though.

I think curry is a product of a soft ass league.
This is what they want, no real defense, no hand checking, no getting up on a shooter, they want this euro ball BS with no post game.
He is great in this era, I don't look at him as one of the best 2s or 1s of all time though, a great shooter, nowhere close to being the GOAT or in contention.

I do think Curry and co are going to fade 2nd half.
You can't go this hard and not feel the effects of it.
