Mya was popping but back then we also had aaliyah, Lauryn hill, Brandy, Monica, Ashanti, Tweet, Deborah cox, Erykah, Janet, Mariah, tamia, Toni, Mary, and that's not even counting the groups, exscape, swv, envogue, destiny child, total etc

Imo Mya was NEVER known as the chick who could sing and dance or really do both. But managed to make hits based on producers, features and being attractive.

Alot of the people named above were way more relevant in the 90's- 2000s. Mya career didn't add up to Brandy, Erykah Monica, Lauryn, Mariah Toni or Mary. She DRY

She wasn't dry, we just had more artists poppin at once, something that's missing from today. Tinashe can't even find a way to matter in a less saturated market, that says a lot.
