Logically, it was the only option for him to take. His stock isn't going to improve if he went back.

Mora saying hes never seen a team take a dude with only 3 starts his junior year go in the 1st, if he was just getting started as far as being an impact player he'd have a point. but theres over 30 starts of tape on him, he got semi-famous in '13 for playing both ends but has been doing work @ OLB.

Jaylen Smith was going to go higher anyway, Scooby will be right there but hes not dropping much past him in the 20s at worst

correct, he has withdrawn from being a registered student @ UCLA. totally focused on the draft with a insurance package covering a drop out of the 1st

Smartest thing that these college players who are 1st round potential can do is take the insurance policy out on themselves. Just look at Ifo Ekpre-Olomu. Went from 1st round potential to 7th round pick after the ACL tear, but is getting the $3,000,000.00 claim.

Smart move in my eyes especially if he was going to enter the draft anyway. This gives him nothing but time to work on getting back healthy so he can possibly go in the 1st round. Plus he's probably got an agent who is breaking him off with the expecation of getting it back and more after he is drafted.

How do I get someone to insure me in case I don't last more than 10 minutes in bed? :ohhh:

But seriously what if he says some stupid stuff in his interviews to throw teams off from drafting him in the first

Or does the opposite of La'ell Collins and says he ain't signing if he gets drafted in the first :russ:
