I'm taking Okafor first, he'll struggle with length for a bit, but overtime I think he'll put in the work in the weight room to either slim down or gain muscle mass.

Karl Towns has a decent chance of going first as well, both are over 6'10" in shoes and have good length.

Mudiay with the 1st pick, easy.

I hate his game and he is a bad fit at Texas :ld:

:what:Yeah, His game doesn't fit at Texas. Texas is a pick and pop team, and a triangle high post game against zones. No room for pick and pop stretch 4 on that roster:troll:

This is a perfect situation for Turner. Our entire rotation returns, so they don't have to rely on him. He doesn't have to play center offensively because Ridley and Ibeh are there. Instead he can play stretch 4 and should start over Lammert since he's taller, a better shooter, rebounder and shot blocker. Holmes gets to move to his natural position at the 3 now. Him stretching the floor allows space for Ridley or a legit pop threat when Taylor gets in the lane. Also gets the ball out of Felix's hands so much. Defensively, they can go really big, which allows Ridley to not have to be the primary shot blocker. Especially on the weak side. That can only help defensive rebounding for a team that was one of the top rebounding teams in the nation. Just net positives all around for the team. They won't win conference, but they will be a damn hard team to beat. Probably top 10 to start the season. Say what you want about Barnes, but that team was expected to win about 10 games. Every player improved and their chemistry got better and better.

And Isaiah Austin wishes he was as good as Turner. Turner does everything better.

Holmes CANNOT guard 3s

and no one on your roster shoots the 3 well

Its the college version of the Detroit Pistons

This is college, not the NBA. Name the college three that is going to dominate Holmes off the dribble without having to deal with Ridley, Ibeh or Turner? Holmes played the 3 when Texas played two bigs for stretches, and it was easily his best position. The problem was, he was also the best 4 on the team.

Texas was a pretty high scoring team without the 3. Its obviously a weakness for the guards, and why I said they aren't winning the conference.

Sounds like you think they will take a step back by bringing back the entire roster + Turner?

Any team with an NBA caliber 3? If Glenn Robinson III can beat you off the dribble then you suck at on-ball D.

Center self, inner self
final four or bust? rick barnes couldnt get out the first weekend with durant, augustin and a bunch of other highly touted recruits. lol @ him doing shyt with the squad next year. probably wont even win the conference

To be fair, that following year's team was pretty damn good. If not for running into Memphis they might have won it all (:heh:) Nah, they were good though. I loved Augustin's game.
texas basketball is BACK.
