This is a man who was once on the cusp of a promising music career before he was incarcerated for a dumb decision that he's owned up to. He left prison and returned to a community that was unrecognizable, not just from the usual changes that accompany the passing of time, but the soul and character of the people in it. Ever since, he's put in work to make a change, becoming a community activist and using what pull he still had in the streets to make a difference. I don't think he's ever pretended to be anyone but a felon with a conscience.

I respect that people are emotional right now, but the fact is that Mysonne is just how you described him. A real life activist, trying to save lives.
