Plenty of people make a run for the hills all the time and disappear without a trace..the problem you're going to face is shyt planning or lack thereof when you're trying to disappear at the last minute. If you're not a hard-core planner in life you're done.
Trying to run without a preplanned execution set in motion years earlier won't yield results. First off you need to identify countries you could settle and blend in and where to actually go when you arrive, how to get out of the continental United States unseen, how to get all your money out discreetly and of course a new identity.
The best plan if you're Black is to move to a majority Black nation having learned the local language of the neighboring country beforehand so you slide in as a believable refugee. Even better if the place is poor with shyt communications infrastructure, so you can better stay off the grid. Bribe the officials for a local ID etc.
