hes already 220They still thinkin that Denard experiment has a chance of succeeding. Yeldon as the every down back can excel especially if he can put on a few pounds.

edit; nevermind i see youre talking about Denard

He's not gonna get the touches Brian got but yeaREALLY????![]()

Didn't know he weighed that muchhes already 220

. He is 6'2 tho so maybe that's why he looks slim To me. He also didn't have much success between the tackles this year + he gets taken out on the reg when they're on the goalline. 7-10 lbs wouldn't hurt if he can maintain his speed..Westbrook was explosive as fukk brehHe's not gonna get the touches Brian got but yea![]()
I was goin more on versatility. This year is evidence that Ingram can run, catch, pass block and be successful at all of them. Traits that Brian excelled at also. I feel you on him not being as explosive though. I never got to watch emmitt Save for that Cardinal year and highlights. I didn't start watching NFL till 03/04Westbrook was explosive as fukk breh
thats a bad comparison
i would compare Darren Sproles to Westbrook not Ingram
IMO Ingram reminds me of Emmitt Smith
hes not as good and doesnt have the hall of fame line Emmitt had but their size, talent, and running style are similar
Ingram is not great nor is he bad he's a good solid RB. There's some games that he's won for us, than theres some game that he jut didn't show up.Nick Saban doesn't recruit players that aren't talented. Mark Ingram has been very underwhelming imo.
Maybe a few years back you could have said that but in recent years some of the best players have come from the SEC. OBJ, Aj Green, Julio Jones, Todd Gurley and a lot of the best defenses are stacked with SEC players. It's fact, but I would extend that to most players from the SEC
Good solid RB = underwhelming for a 1st round Heisman winner.Ingram is not great nor is he bad he's a good solid RB. There's some games that he's won for us, than theres some game that he jut didn't show up.
The most disappointing game Ive seen from Ingram was last season when were in the playoff hunt and we played the Falcons. Falcons had a horrible run defense and everything was laid out for Ingram to carry us into the playoffs and he laid an egg that game. There was also a playoff game against Seattle where the game was very tight and Ingram fumbling the ball was the deciding factor of the game.
The best game Ingram has played was SNF against the Cowgirls a few years back
