Some others I remember:
- frogs would pee on the water fountain in school, right where the water would come out of.....stopped drinking from there for like a year because of that
- one time my local Mickey D's closed down (the only one that was close by in my area)....everyone at school was saying it got shut down along with ALL the other McDonald's all over the world, because it was discovered that they used garbage to make the burgers
- AIDS in itself can count as a rumor back then.....I remember a period when damn near everybody was droppin random celebrity/athlete names and saying they had AIDS (hell, even people we knew in the community were named). nikkas would even talk about how you could get AIDS from sitting on a toilet, or eating certain food
- Prince had a sex change
- Marilyn Manson had his ribs removed so he could suck his own dikk; also that he was the kid who played Kevin's best friend on the Wonder Years
- Ultimate Warrior from WWF died and they replaced him
- Chyna from WWF was a man
- a bunch of other video game-related shyt.....this was back when a lil nikka didn't have the internet or money for a videogame codebook to see what was real from what wasn't. How many of y'all remember the 'Sheng Long' shyt for Street Fighter? The alleged naked codes for Mortal Kombat 1 and 2? Not to mention the random, lying-ass kid who would talk about how he knew about the next console that would be released.....Ultra Nintendo (after Super Nintendo), Game Man (after Game Boy), Nintendo 128 (after N64), etc.
.....they'd also make up random 'hidden' shyt in games. Like remember how Vega used the climb the fence on his stage in Street Fighter 2 Turbo? One nikka was talking about how Sagat had a one-hit-kill Super Tiger Uppercut where he'd run behind the big-ass statue in his stage, then rush back out and uppercut you over the top of the screen
