I'm cool with Cooks:yeshrug:

Sproles gone, Lance too. We had the oldest O in the league last year too. I'm sure Sean will get him rolling:obama:

We had a top 5 offense but one thing our offense was missing was explosiveness! Cooks will be able to bring that to the table

Even tho, I wanted Dennard with the pick. I okay with Brandin Cooks. He's explosive and great return man. We need a receiver that could seperate, Cooks give you that.

I'm cool with us picking up a cb in the 2nd but we need to get a C and the top 2 are gone with no pick in the third. I don't see that riechburg dude falling to us in the 4th

Wish we would have taken a chance on Seantrel in the 6th. Trel has just as much talent as any of the 1st n 2nd round OT that were taken it's just he's a fukk up and he can't be trusted. But that late in the draft I think it would have been worth it.

Otherwise I think we did well.

Plus, If Powell can stay healthy and get more accustomed to dropping into coverage I think he can be a beast.

Saints' Jairus Byrd has back surgery to fix disc issue - NFL.com

Jairus Byrd has gone under the knife.
New Orleans Saints coach Sean Payton told reporters that Byrd missed practice Thursday to undergo surgery to relieve a disc issue in his back, according to The Times-Picayune. Payton said Byrd, a prize free-agent acquisition in the offseason, is expected to be ready for training camp.

Payton said the surgery wasn't necessary, but doctors determined it would help Byrd moving forward. The coach added that Byrd wouldn't have undergone the procedure if the problem cropped up during the regular season.

This doesn't sound like a major setback for Byrd, but it can't be considered good news for a Saintsteam that just invested more than $26 million in guaranteed money in the talented safety.
