People overhype the mics thing. The Mics were on point before the Source became a joke. The only questionable one was Made Men 4.5 and that's what brought all of the controversy. But even after that, they were still accurate for another year or so. The BS ratings didn't start until Benzino stepped away.

I almost bought that trash ass album based off the 4.5 mics...almost. I listened to it at a mom and pop shop and wanted to kick over the listening station after hearing that travesty. Never took their ratings seriously after that.

I always got the feeling that Dave let the editors run the show outside of the obligatory Almighty RSO/Made Men fukkery.

This is what I was saying about podcasts, they are censoring like crazy because the publicists and lawyers are freaking out. Somehow they think "If this isn't mentioned on a podcast" These dummies don't understand message boards & social media going to fly this shyt whatever you censor. He didn't censor "Five Mics" There are only so many female artists in hip hop who are allowed to make albums.

Now NORE is doing what he said he wouldn't do. Don't do it, you are going to end as stale as Funkmaster Flex sit downs " I see where you going with that, ohhh myyy gaaaaahhhhh Yo, that's craaaazzzzy"
