Jay: So I'm counting the bricks and I'm like, fukk, there's 92 of em missing, where the fukk they go? I'm scrambling, running around the apartment freaking out. I hear a bunch of commotion, look outside the window and I see the plug's truck pull up and park right on 6th Street, in my mind I'm thinking I'm about to die, they knock on the door and through the peep hole I see the plug with two big guys looking like they about to pull their guns out, so I

NORE: You were staying on 6th Street? There was a fish spot I used to go to on 6th, used to get Jack Salmon from there. You fukk with Jack Salmon:jbhmm:

Jay: Nah, I prefer perch:gucci:. So I open the d

NORE: Let's give it up for perch god damn it:blessed:

NORE: So the first time you fukked Foxy, did you have to pretend to be her uncle to get her out of school early like Ferris Bueller:lupe:

On one hand I get the complaint on general terms. On the other hand Nore's show is so unprofessional, so unprepared, and so embarrassing that I'm never going to criticize black artists for preferring to go elsewhere. The entire format of Drink Champs is trash and needs to be changed. The questions are rarely good, there is no consistent narrative throughout, and Nore often ends up repeating the same questions over and over because he is drunk. Why would Jay want to associate himself with that? The funny thing is that Nore has said Jay used to watch the show. So I'm sure Jay has seen how it has gotten worse and worse, and less professional. If anyone saw the Snoop episode you know what I'm talking about.

"Black media" needs to have an inner conversation about why artists are refraining from talking to them. They need to be honest and ask why would an artist rather do an interview with Zane Lowe but not me? Is it because Zane is white...or is it because Zane isn't going to be asking asinine questions about gossip and bullshyt in order to go viral? Go look at that Breakfast Club interview with Jada, who I got zero respect for BUT even I will say she got railroaded by being asked that disgusting question about the recent Will/gay rumor. They know that shyt came from a trashy youtube channel, they know it has no real value or truth, yet still ran with it in order to go viral and get Jada's immediate reaction. And it's not like TBC is the only "black media" platform that operates like that. Most of them do. Let's be real. If I'm a rapper I'm talking to Ebro, Sway, and that's about it. Because those are the other ones I can think of with basic integrity.
I agree. The issue with black media is that they have no background in journalism, or even communications. It’s just a typical person that likes to gossip and speculate on shyt having a platform. People could say what they want about Wendy Williams, but she actually has a degree in communications, and worked in radio, even as a college student. Meaning, her background gave her the ability to work in her field. See you when you go to school for that shyt they polish you on certain things. That’s the difference.

There's a lot of Party In the USA singing muhfukas in this thread.

What Nore is saying it's not hard to get

fukk with those that really fukk with you

Podcasters know when to turn the goofy down
Aka ....When Nas was up there
OR CTG with Nas ....CTG with Jay

But Nore is missing that it was ALSO a show of power on Gayle's behalf....A black woman
