For short cooks it's easy. For 8+ hour briskets, it's hard tI have an empty stomach especially just smelling it all damn day

. But if you just eat haphazardly when it's finally done you're not even that hungry. And the worst part is having a bunch of hungry motherfukkers around conveniently when the food is done and you're not that hungry, but your looking forward to the leftovers, or eating later in peace. ( I like to nap and shower then eat after long cooks, or just chill and eat the next day by myself with a good show and peace and quiet)
Hickory smoked chicken. Maybe a little pecan. Just seasoning, no sauce unless I'm doing it Memphis style.
