I think HBCU's should always be the first option for black college bound students but that's just me.

My kids would also have a higher chance of finding a black educated and professional partner with a good head on his or her shoulders as well.

those schools should offer them scholarships or create a fund to pay for those athletes education elsewhere. It's a double edged sword sharing your talent with an institution in a state that is reversing hard won gains for your people and profiting from your talent at the same time. free higher-education is hard to pass up though if they're your only chance at a college education.
