I’m not going to lie, I did get emotional hearing her speech. Just thinking about how far we’ve come, as a society, regarding trans-issues. There’s still so much work to be done, but to see her stand so strongly and proudly in her awareness and support of the trans community made my eyes tear up a bit. I know Zaya feels loved and supported and that is the most important thing in the world to me. I’m a bit of an emotional wreck, currently. Thank you, Mrs. Union.
