I don't vote for them in national elections and they suck overall. Other than that, I don't really think about them bc the people making my life difficult are DEMOCRATS.
I worked for local and state government for years and it baffles me you feel as if Democrats make things harder. What is your profession, if you feel comfortable saying.
You know how they say ppl focus too much on the nationals and don't pay attention to local politics? Well, I'm paying attention to my local politics, and, somehow, that's frowned upon now too. You can see my confusion.

You are doing the right thing holding your local leaders accountable and asking them tough questions. Thing about local government is monies will be allocated from the federal and state level which is severally mishandled and a lot of time due to simply incompetence or rather laziness. I have seen this first hand so many times. Thing is it's tough to fire government workers, so alot of them know they can do a piss poor job and not be held accountable.I'm a homemaker.
But I'm not talking about me, we do okay. I'm talking about the rest of the city. I don't know what occurred on a federal level, but after Trump got in, several ppl I know got out of the shelter, or they mom's couch, and were finally called for NYCHA housing. That's a big deal in this city.
DeBlasio was shyt, Adams is shyt, Hochul is shyt. From the city to the state. You don't wanna get me started on the city council and them a$$holes in Albany. MTA steady going up, for what? (And I haven't been on the train in a decade.) nikkas legit getting choked out. There's literal feces on the ground. WTF are ppl doing?? Police get more funding and then dont do shyt. We have a fukking epidemic with these paper license plates, and these nikkas be running lights, driving crazy and all that. I have almost been killed numerous times. WTF???
