What is it about these Bama RBs having horrible vision and decision making issues like this? You're not at Bama anymore getting massive holes all over the place. Sometimes you gotta just take the 4 yards you're given

The wild thing is, based on the examples in here, Pittsburgh has been giving this man massive holes and he's not capitalizing.

I like the man, but this is inexcusable :scust: :to:

His read was def pre-snap and pre-determined...the DE was lined up over the LT and before the snap Najee knew he was gonna run behind the G

Dude lacks vision bc soon as that 3-4 end kicked inside he should've known that the lane to run was between the LG and LT

This is basic football processing :scust:

🤣🤣 also to further your point it was predetermined and so egregious- basic football processing-dude had his hesitation and cut step to actually see what was happening and still did this dumb shyt!

It’s so crazy how hard it is to project these players in the NFL when they’re in college, Najee was a human joystick at bama, his final year there he was unstoppable

That's a lot of his problem, he's a bit of a dancing bear. Even with his vision and anticipation issues, he'd be 10x more effective if he just put his foot into the ground, hit the hole and take your 4 yards. He tries to play like Leveon Bell but he needs to model his game after Bettis

I don’t question Najee’s will. His heart. He WANTS to be good. It’s the execution that is killing him.

He gets outplayed by the undrafted 2nd rb on our roster. He stutter steps instead of just hitting the hole.

Jaylen Warren is much smaller but plays with much more ferocity.

Any qb this yr coming out is an upgrade

Why they picked this Homer Mike tomczak year face ass qb makes no sense. As Dan Marino played at Pitt. If the qb is not marino level at Pitt.
Plus is not six.five.
Why are we picking a qb from Pitt. The lack of wherewithal to legacy drafting qb is an issue. As well as draft placement.

In steelers country the qb must be six. Five or better.
to win behind.
what should be a monstrous offensive line in general play for the steelers. Anything else is tomczak year mediocrity.
After that we need another Troy type. Who you will not sneak away from the draft with middle of the road draft placement. The day of sneaking rampup or discoveryzone players is dead. Those types of grassroots warrior kids do not exist in abundance like back in the day. Simply because of a lack of grassroots existential play.
in america youth post crack epidemic.
So this grassroots smash through a wall to Win obsessive compulsive spirited player does not exist in america anymore. All sports are all program silver spoon types of kids. Who have been in programs so long. That they have no other gear and no outside stimulus from grassroots play to be better or have an experience outside programs to make them want to be better. With that said, the old type of middle of road draft player.
that used to exist to rampup. to be great does not exist anymore. Nor does the actual coaching at different levels.
to cultivate this type of player is also lacking moving forward as well.
So to remedy that how the steelers and tomlin have not agreed.
to tank at least one year. When the qb is six.five potentially as a draft pick is available. Right now though. For us to win a superbowl. We need high draft pick corners and a qb. Which you can only get by tanking. If you want to ultimately win a superbowl. in the long term slash short term.
Steelers and Tomlin need to agree to tank For one year. Or it is the Mike tomczak years for us, with no way to win a superbowl Moving forward.

Being a steelers is about winning superbowls.
Yet to do that this time. We have to lose just once. For the first time in like two long term legacy coaching tenured.

We must tank, just once.

For pete christ sake.

I will say that since I said this Najee has played much simpler. Instead of thinking he is a speed back he is simply lining up and hitting people in the mouth. Nothing fancy. Just one cut and go. He has been running hard as hell these last 3 games
