Pac was a very basic rapper with a big image profile, and even though he made some great music, most of what he did was forgettable. His lyrics dont sit in your head, you never rewound the tape, its hard to recall his lyrics because they just arent special so his albums fell short in a way. Still a dope artist.

i wasnt making a direct comparison in terms of albums, was more outlining the parameters for why i started the run at pacs 3rd album. biggie and nas had better first projects than pac. i was conceding that point but then advancing why i still hold pac higher.

:patrice:but still... why use biggie - when he only made 2LP's -it defeats the purposes of ur post

u could have substituted him with jayz
*still would be false but at least ...apples 2 apples*

Hell On Earth was darker.
There's no "Toss It Up" "Just Like Daddy" or " Live and Die in LA" type records on HOE.

Hell on earth is an amazing album, but there were no "suge shot me" or "im alive" type moments on there....its all about the context and relative to the back story
