I want y’all to name a better era to be black during and where exactly (cities or countries), based on time periods….namely decades (60’s-70’s), but you can do a famous black person’s life instead…
I want y’all to base it on these categories:
People shyt on this Era but I fukked with it hard and Atlanta had the Burberry everything going on. Throwback jerseys is are & are still hard if worn correctly (I got a San Diego Chargers jersey & an Iverson White Jersey). PLATINUM JEWELERY. Alll platinum. I remember that became the thing after gold in the 90’s I still want platinum but that shyt is expensive so I settle for white gold. Air force ones all colors, football jerseys, headbands. Baggy pants. The clothes weren’t so tight & laid back. Long chains. Platinum. Grills for atlanta. Durags. Dada. Plus there was more black owned companies like Sean John, Ecko, and Fubu.
Plus Cam’ron had the dopest gear in that era idc what anyone says. Only dude fukking with him was maybe Fabulous everyone else was a fukking bum lmao Jadakiss always wearing a dirty bath towel on his head or 50 Cent wearing a tank top to a 5 star resturaunt with a fitted hat on & a durag under it

Tbh I was a kid back then so I have no idea on this so someone fill me in. I just know my dad was doing fine & gas prices were a little high so that’s about it. Atlanta seemed like it was truly a black mecca in the early 2000’s with all classes of African Americans. Kinda reminds me of PG County & DC in a lot of ways.
