What @Kenzo Ten is talking about is people playing the whole albums at all different types of functions under different types of contexts.

GNX actually reflects the city as it is as of this moment, like a 2001 and Doggystle did. They are all albums that are being played by EVERYBODY and EVERYWHERE. No it was not like that for The Documentary. It's also no coincidence Kendrick borrowed a lot from the likes of Drakeo The Ruler, who was the king of LA (forreal) and still lowkey/highkey reigns supreme to this day, even in death, in terms of influence in a real life boots to the ground way. Every rapper, and i mean deadass EVERY rapper in LA for the past 3-5 years has some degree of Drakeo bite in them. He was/is THAT influential.

GNX is a highly polished industry art kid Drakeo The Ruler album. Straight up. I love the album btw, this isn't a diss, it's just what it is.

Exactly. If you're from the west, then you know GNX is the biggest thing since Doggystyle/2001. EVERYBODY is playing it, you hear the album EVERYWHERE.

Game did not have that kind of impact.
