Prisoners was incredible.

The Revenant is my choice. Leo got his Oscar but other than that I see no mention of it.

Its one of my fav movies of all time, a masterpiece, and the most visceral cinematography ive seen in my life

was menacing as fukk in this, wish he could’ve played more dark roles earlier on. The atmosphere you’re immersed in is unapologetically grimy, the brutality is flinch-worthy, and it felt like the film never let up when it came to ramping up the tension. Love it on every watch.
