Man this thread reminded me of a romantic drama I seen a while ago and it's killing me because I can't remember the name. It's not really corny but now I need y'all help identifying it.
Must've released from '99-2002, wasn't in theaters I don't believe. It was basically like 3 or 4 different short stories:
One was for sure about a boxer and his wife, and I think he was a full time mechanic or something. Struggling to make ends meet, he's getting paid to lay down against an up and coming fighter at his gym. He's cool with it until the other fighter keeps taunting him and fukking with him, and he knocks him out or something. His crooked promoter sends him home, and that's all I remember.
Another one about a guy who sells fruits or flowers at a stand, and he's always trying to get at his love interest with no success. She ends up getting mugged, and when she wake up, he's waiting by her side. I think she has a boyfriend, but she picks the flower stand guy instead.
The last story I remember gets a lil cloudy.. some sort of household dispute, dad is an alcoholic or something.. and someone else, either his son or maybe the uncle stands up to end the conflict.
I'll probably never find the name.
