I have to say Aliens. Alien is monumental and original. But Aliens does something so opposite of Alien and nails it so good, it's just beyond beautiful. The queen Alien in itself is a masterpiece, James Cameron was showing people how to make an epic action film. It's too good.

I wanna say I remember reading somewhere that he worked for Sam Peckinpah for a time in the 60s.
Walter Hill was part of that 70s wave of cinema. Legend, in the same class as all the other directors/screenwriters of the 70s and 80s.

No grounds... I went back and watched the second one again.. They went from cool regular dudes throwing a jam... To sound effects and outlandish scenes and a terrible plot. If it wasn't for the fact that everyone thinks of it for the pajama party, nobody would talk about it
And house party is a top 3 movie FOR ME.. I liked the others as a kid.. As an adult, only the first one holds up
