Real talk. That's all you can do. I know that I'm not built for society's definition of a "relationship". If anything, I would value companionship as long as there are boundaries, and they can respect that. As far as other things, if people set themselves up for unrealistic expectations (getting attached like you said) or make assumptions going in, when I'm upfront with it, that's on them.
