Pretty good list. Ewing gets left out often for some reason. His Defense is what really put him on the map and sustained a high level of play as his offensive efficiency dipped.

Was great as getting blocks as a guard but wasnt great at defense overall. He been outright bad the last three years
Kobe got All Defense off hype n reputation. Good defender sure but he was never great. You'd put him above Tony Allen or The Glove?

Tony Allen just spent all his energy focusing on defense. Kobe was averaging 30+ PPG and playing lock down defense. If all he did was just focus on defense he would have won DPOY every season.
Just look at his defense during the Olympics when he locked down Leonadro Barbosa. When Kobe knew he didn't have to focus on offense and could use all his energy on defense, he didn't allow Barbosa the ability to even dribble the ball past half court.
Kobe when he's locked in is one of the greatest perimeter defenders in NBA history.

You must not have watched him back then. Ben Wallace was an overrated defender. He was great at weakside help defense. But man to man he was only good. He was not great. In terms of man to man low post defense, Rasheed Wallace was much better.
