We have so much power that we don’t use effectively, whether that’s through finances or our political clout. If you are scared to say my name or you have to use “strategy” in supporting me, then I shall be scared to use my vote on you or will be strategic in my voting when it comes to deciding where my backing will go

The heads of the democratic party arent liberals, they are centrists. If you study global politics you see that the american democratic party is the equivalent of conservative parties in other countries like Canada.
They're afraid of people who are democratic socialists because they wont take money from healthcare companies, big tech, big banks or oil companies. If you have a candidate that is taking those kind of donations then they will not fight for unions, they wont do anything about housing discrimination, they wont do anything about expanding healthcare and making it more affordable, they wont want to spend more public money on infrastructure. They wont spend money on anything that will benefit us if their handlers at Goldman Sachs or Amazon feels that it clashes with their bottom line.
Being surprised at an establishment Democrat saying some dumb shyt like that is like being surprised at a bear growling or a frog jumping. You should expect this from someone who sees politics as a game. They're richer than all of us several times over. They dont have to worry about the conditions of the schools their kids go to, they dont have to worry about if they can afford college tuition, they dont have to worry about daycare so they can work while their child is looked after. They dont have to care about white supremacists gunning them down, they dont have to care about not making enough money to survive while throwing away their best years to some company who can fire them at any time because there is no union backing them up.
For these cats they're doing this for sport. They genuinely dont have skin in the game. Can you really trust someone whose kids go to private school to reform the education system and build schools back up? Can you trust someone who is a rich white person who has never even come close to a police officer to take these shootings seriously? Can you trust someone who has never been to prison pr known anyone who has to talk about reforming the system? Can you trust a millionaire to help you secure a fair wage and union protection? Can you trust someone who has never been a victim of white supremacy to protect you from it?
