Trump-ism/MAGA was a combination of many things. One was white fear and reaction to the inevitable population shift and no longer being the majority.
They employed all types of ploys to get votes from other communities last election or to prevent those votes from going to Biden. "Both sides/don't vote it doesn't matter" and open disinformation campaigns targeted to Black voters were part of that strategy, and received funding from pro-Republican interests.
Same interests who lost in 2020, and are now trying to rewrite state voting laws.
