Latinos are the result of the conquered native merging with the conqueror.
Spanish speaking conquistadors went to South and Central America and exterminated much of the indigenous population.
The ones that remained bred with the Spanish and were given Spanish names and language to mix with their own culture.
The greatest goal of many in Latin America is to be viewed as Euro-Spanish (think broad popularity of Canelo Alvarez, a Mexican who does not look typically Mexican )
The true indigenous left in Latin America are a minority and are treated horribly.

Adults are willing to stay in their parents house until they're like 30 and build a whole family there. Parents are letting them too
and the white passing ones have no trouble finding high end jobs or just opportunities to start businesses.
